We're a group of Bay Area friends -- in our 20s to 40s -- who enjoy fine dining experiences. Although our focus is Palo Alto and its restaurants and fine dining establishments, we sometimes expand our reach to other parts of the Bay Area. By the way, non-Palo Altans may apply for membership to this group as well. We will keep our somewhat upscale dinners to a reasonable size (usually around 10) to facilitate quality of interaction. You'll be asked to pay a small organization fee to reserve your …
Welcome, Ladies! The Women of Menlo Park & Palo Alto meet-up group is meant to serve as a conduit for building strong friendships with women in the community. We hold events with a maximum size of 10 women, where new relationships have a chance to blossom. Join us for some fun as we explore the Peninsula and make new friends along the way.
Hello and welcome! I decided to step up as organizer of this group, as the original organizer stepped down and there are so many active members that I just couldn't let the group become inactive simply because there was no leader. I am renaming the group somewhat, but I hope it will retain the same flavor and will provide a venue for active, fun, wild, type A Silicon Valley-Palo Alto Area Professionals (lawyers, doctors, accountants, consultants, engineers, execs, C-levels, etc.) to get tog …

So maybe it's OK if we don't always have time to finish the book... This group is for Moms and expectant Moms in Silicon Valley who want to grow their social circles. I work at Google, and after having our baby my husband and I moved to Palo Alto after a year in London and many years in San Francisco. I'm looking to develop a social circle down South, and I'm guessing there are many other people like me out there! In this book club, we choose a book and a thematically appropriate cuisine (e.g., …

Meet fellow Champagne and wine enthusiasts with a passion for learning about and sharing a love of wonderful wine and champagne. No snobbery here; everyone welcome from first-time bouquet-sniffers to seasoned vinophiles.
If you are one of those techies that haunt the corridors of Silicon Valley companies across Palo Alto, Mountain View, San Jose, Santa Clara, Sunnyvale, Cupertino and around, this group is for you. The whole idea of the group is to help people network and at the same time get a break from work. Decompress after a busy weekday over drinks/dinner, get a breath of fresh air outdoors on the weekends, relax at a stage event or be stimulated by a lecture or museum visit. This group is not focused …

… We will explore restaurants like James Randall and Cin-Cin in Los Gatos, LB Steak and Village Bistro in Santana Row, Mayfield Bakery in Palo Alto. Groups members will add more suggestions. And I will try to convince a few more chefs of upscale restaurants to add a burger to their menu. We will have events roughly once per month. Typically on the weekend. We will limit it to 10 people per event so we can have a civilized discussion across the whole table and can exchange and discuss our burger ph …
